Where Do You Get You're Kicks???

Kick Chicks...

It looks like sneakers are going to be a big hit next Summer - The S/S 2013 catwalks offered their own take with neon-bright Nike Air Max at Moschino Cheap and Chic, Reebok Classics at Ashish and space-age trainers at Junya Watanabe.

I'm a big fan of the sports wear shoe.. Not just for running and keeping fit but to wear with my everyday clothes. Being a stylist, you're always (literally) running around either prepping clothes for shoots or styling on set. So a nice pair of sneaks can do your feet a whole world of good!! It's great to see them teamed with high-fly dresses on the catwalk.. Proving they're not just for the sports conscious individual!!

Christian Louboutins S/S 13 Preview At Harvey Nicks...

Don't Mind If I Shoe....

I went to the Christian Louboutin Spring Summer 2013 preview this week, held at the Harvey Nichols store in Manchester. My friend and I was pleasantly greeting at the door with one of my favourite glasses of Prosecco and so we went on to browse..

The collection was nice but quite safe I would say, in terms of colours and styles.. Still loads of the iconic extra high heels with platform soles, which I suppose is signature to the Louboutin style... But, my favourite pair had to be these ones below.. I predict they will be a definite sell out for sure!! Beautiful candy pink studded stiletto with matching clutch bag.. 

They really are to die for!! :)

Launch Of The Lucky West New T-Shirt Brand...

Lucky Lucky West...

Whilst prepping for more of my shoots, I came across this lovely little t-shirt brand called Lucky West.. It's a relatively new UK based brand with a 50's Americana theme. Made from the best quality cotton and with a prestige preppy look, Lucky West stocks a range of men's high quality print and embroidered t-shirts in a range of vintage colours.

The inspiration behind the t-shirt brand is passionate yet romantic in ways..

"The idea and the name Lucky West came about, after an inspired trip down the west coast of America. I wanted to capture that vintage feel from the America of old, think back to 1950’s Vegas and all its glamour and the cool diners that were spread across the states. I also fell in love with the designs of the old style neon signs, which are sadly a dying art form now. I was adamant though that the clothes had to be finished off with fine detailed tailoring, and then washed to give a super soft feel."

It's Christmas... Well nearly!!!

Looks a little bit like Christmas is coming with these beautiful Christmas decorations and gifts in one of my local independent shops... Elm on Wilmslow Road in Didsbury certainly has started early with the Christmas spirit!!
